London Stock Exchange Shareholders. I should like to consult the opinions of other forum members who are London Stock Exchange shareholders.

Indeed the opinions of shareholders in general as anyone who buys and sells shares on the LSE is a client at the very least.

I have been informed that my LSE shares are now in a bid situation. For every LSE share we are being offered 0.

DB shareholders are to receive a one for one swap on their shareholdings plus a generous dividend of Euro 2. The rationale behind the merger appears to be the new EU Capital Markets Union Project Regulations Implementations CMUPRI, and apparently a merger will save Euros over three years when these new EU regulations on Capital management are implemented.

My own view is this may be the worst deal in history for LSE shareholders, the oldest and most profitable stock exchange in the world is being almost given away into foreign ownership. Once this is allowed to happen the UK is going to lose a large part of her national sovereignty which will never come back.

Oh, and fees for trading will rise as sure as night follows day. The figures speak for themselves, LSE shareholders should reject all bids and remain independent. That is my opinion at any rate, I would welcome the views of other shareholders and clients of LSE.

It seems like a conversation of two investment bankers who are talking about a client who is an internet giant who told one of them that they are just about to close a deal about a considerable purchase of shares of a huge German electronic payment processor.

The German payment processor is especially experienced in mobile payment. If you look at recent cooperations, they must be speaking about Wirecard.
